1. How do I take care of my clothing?

Dresses: When you wear your dress, we advise you to have lots of fun, love those around you, drink plenty of water, say your prayers, take the scenic route, and remind yourself of how loved and incredible you are. And also, due to the nature of using repurposed deadstock fabric, we strongly advise that dry cleaning be used to care for the material to maintain its quality <3.

Eden Set: Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. (Or hang dry.)

Organic Stripe Pants: Wash on cool with like colors, do not tumble dry, lay flat to dry or hang dry.

Peace Tee: Wash cold with like colors, tumble dry low inside out.

2. What is the size of "one size"?

Marguerite size measurements: pit to pit 18", total length 36"

Bardot size measurements: pit to pit 21", total length 35"

3. Will you be coming out with more sizes?

Yes! Our goal at Coco Maisonette is to be all inclusive with our sizing. Since we are a small brand, our resources allow us to start with one size and grow from there <3. 

We have expanded our size range! We now offer S/M, M/L, and L/XL in the Eden set. Organic stripe pants are offered in sizes XS, S/M, M/L, XL/2XL. Peace tee is offered in sizes S, M, L, XL.

4. What is deadstock fabric?

At Coco Maisonette, we source beautiful, deadstock fabric from renewable sources. This means that instead of the fabric going to a landfill, we get to repurpose it into your beautiful dress! Using deadstock fabric reduces textile waste, minimizes the environmental impact of new fabric production, and creates unique designs that are not mass-produced because deadstock fabric is often limited in quantity.

5. What are the reasons behind the higher cost of sustainable fashion?

Sustainable fashion costs more to produce than conventional fashion due to eco-friendly materials and fair wages for workers, resulting in higher prices. Sustainable fashion brands produce in smaller quantities with high quality materials, which adds to the cost, but investing in sustainable fashion supports a responsible and eco-conscious industry with long-term benefits for people and the planet <3.
